Alexander E. Storch, M.D.

Dr. Storch trained at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York where he conceptualized, organized, and implemented Resident Case Presentation Performance Improvement on the Psychiatry Acute Care Units.

Before medical school and residency, Storch worked for Lehman Brothers, The Roundabout Theatre Company, and as a personal trainer at The Carlyle Hotel while completing Post-baccalaureate premedical sciences at the City University of New York – Hunter College. Earlier, his undergraduate degree a B.A. in American Studies from Hobart College. He was Valedictorian at Tilton School. 

Dr. Storch has volunteered for a number of organizations including The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp (his stepfather, A.E. Hotchner with Paul Newman created the camps for children with serious disease), and NYU Medical Center Emergency Room Liaison Initiative.

Dr. Storch’s approach to patient care begins with a comprehensive diagnostic assessment and the most immediate aim for the patient of relief from symptoms or suffering. Then, often in collaboration with psychotherapists and other healthcare professionals, in helping the individual find ongoing success in their professional, academic, or personal endeavors.

Dr. Storch lives in New York with his wife and children.

Dr. Storch is a member of the American Professional Society of ADHD & Related Disorders; the American Psychiatric Association; and the American Medical Association. Licensed & Registered to practice Medicine in the States of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology-Certified / Diplomate ABPN.
